Hope My Favorite Paintings Don’t Come To Life

Living Art

One day, your favorite piece of art — a famous painting or sculpture, the graffiti next door — comes to life. What happens next?

If that happens I’m checking my liquor cabinet.

I always liked the famous cavalry charge against the Dominion of the South Morelands. If that comes to life I’m digging a hole. By the way the guy who painted this was riding backwards on a fast horse. He finished just before having his head lopped off by a saber from the opposing charging forces. Apparently they weren’t art lovers.

Here is the link to my short story for the day, Average Movie Goers.

  3. I think I might choose Whistler’s Mother. Rather quiet except for the squeak of the rocker. We might have a lengthy conversation about how her son is doing over in his studio.
