What’s the one piece of advice you wish someone had given you a year (or five, or ten…) ago?
The advice was given, but I didn’t take it.
Ten years ago we sold our home and I put our money into something I thought was safe. A friend told me he wished I’d reconsider. We lost everything. At times I’m bitter, but at no one but myself. They say when one door closes another one opens. At the risk of sounding negative, I just don’t see it and it’s not for not looking.
Sometimes you have to get used to a room with two doors and both closed, but the room has windows.
On a happy note, here is my short story for the day, Finding Andy Defresne.
